To best serve your pet, we offer direct digital radiography, abdominal & general ultrasonography, and echocardiography all in-house.
Operating from our North London (Old North) location in London, Ontario, our Diagnostic Imaging team works directly with your veterinarian, so you can get the answers you need to make informed and timely decisions about your pet’s care.

Veterinary ultrasonography services are also available by referral for practices outside of the Neighbourhood Pet Clinic group of clinics. We provide timely appointments for your clients, board-certified radiology reports, and direct communication with the referring veterinarian.

Digital Radiography (X-Rays)
Sometimes, what’s going on underneath the surface isn’t obvious, but it’s urgent. The more complex a case is, the more critical it is to obtain properly positioned X-Rays acquired using optimal technical parameters to guarantee the best possible image for interpretation.
Our diagnostic imaging team has undergone advanced clinical training in diagnostic imaging – providing a level of service that goes beyond what is typically available in general practice. They have extensive experience handling sick, painful, and anxious pets to obtain accurate, diagnostic-quality X-Ray images with compassion and care.

Abdominal & General Ultrasonography
Ultrasound is a non-invasive tool that assesses your pet’s internal organs in real-time. Just like in human medicine, having access to both options allows your care team to assess conditions that an X-ray alone can’t fully explain. But often, truly diagnostic ultrasound services such as this are only available through referral to a tertiary care facility.
However, at Neighbourhood Pet Clinic, we’re proud to provide you with access to full ultrasonography for your pet, right here in London. Our experienced veterinary sonographer and his team are equipped with a modern sonography unit (General Electric e10), enabling them to obtain high-quality images regardless of the size of your dog or cat. For reporting, we partner with Cygnus Veterinary Imaging Group, a proudly-Canadian teleradiology company with a mission of providing accurate and affordable remote consulting in diagnostic imaging.
