Neighbourhood Pet Clinic Veterinary Surgery in London, ON

Surgery with Heart (and Warm Blankets)

From pre-op to post-op, comfort and safety are at the heart of everything we do.

Recovery Room

Thoughtful Care, Every Step of the Way

Our surgical suites are fully equipped and designed to feel as calm and comforting as possible. We use:

  • Bair Hugger warming blankets to maintain body temperature during surgery
  • Soft heating lamps to support a smooth recovery
  • White noise machines to reduce stress during their stay

Before any surgery, your pet receives a pre-anesthetic exam so we can tailor their anesthetic plan.

Throughout the procedure, their anesthesia is closely monitored by a skilled veterinary technician, and they’re supported with IV fluids and pain medication to keep them hydrated and comfortable.

Monitoring continues through recovery until they’re safely ready to go home to you.

Surgical Expertise, Close to Home

Our team of experienced veterinarians can perform a wide range of surgical procedures right here at Neighbourhood Pet Clinic — including:

  • Advanced dental surgeries
  • Foreign body removals
  • Enucleations (eye removal)
  • Splenectomies
  • Gastropexies
  • Amputations
  • Cryptorchid neuters
  • Planned c-sections
  • Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome surgery

By offering these procedures locally, we help reduce the need for outside referrals — saving you time, reducing stress, and keeping care in the hands of a team you already know and trust. If your pet does need a specialist, we’re still here to help. Your veterinarian can coordinate a referral to a board-certified surgeon who’s the right fit for your pet’s unique needs.
