Kitten Membership
Younger than 1 year
Become a member for $439.99 + HST and enjoy membership prices on the following services for the year:
Kitten Vaccine Exams | $0.00 Reg. $119.87
Kittens require multiple vet visits in their first several months in order to receive the necessary vaccines and to ensure they are developing properly. With a membership, the cost to see a veterinarian at these visits is free. At your first appointment, your veterinarian will work with you to identify which vaccines your little one should receive based on their lifestyle and health factors. Your kitten will then get started on a vaccine schedule to start building immunity and keep them healthy and safe from disease.
Vaccinations | $19.94 per vaccine Reg. $39.88
Some vaccines are considered essential (and even mandatory) for all cats, but the exact number of vaccinations recommended or your furry family member will depend on their personalized vaccine schedule and lifestyle. On average, if an adult cat has received all of their kitten vaccinations, they will need about two to three vaccines at each annual visit.
Additional Examinations | $59.94 Reg. $119.87
Your kitten will likely require several vet visits during their first year of life, whether for routine care, minor injuries, or other concerns. This membership gives you peace of mind knowing that you can call and book your little one in for a doctor’s assessment at any time during the year for half of the regular price.
Nail Trims | $13.87 Reg. $27.73
Keeping your cat’s nails trimmed short can reduce the damage to your furniture as well as protect them from having their nails grow into the pads of their paws. Regular nail trims with lots of love and treats help to form a positive association with the process, and encourages good foot health.
Spay or Neuter | $386.25 Reg. $772.50* (price based on sex)
Your kitten’s spay or neuter will include: pre-anesthetic surgical examination, fluid treatment, and pre-surgical medication along with “human standard” surgical protocol, full technician monitoring (ECG, blood pressure, 0² saturation & temperature), and take-home pain medications.
Pre-Surgical Blood Work | $109.58 Reg. $219.16
Before your cat’s spay or neuter, we will recommend a basic blood profile that allows our team to identify and plan for risk factors that may affect their surgery, anesthesia, and recovery. This blood work also establishes a baseline to be used for comparison in the future if your cat ever becomes ill.
Feline Viral 2 Test | $86.05 Reg. $172.10
A feline Viral 2 Test or ‘FelV/FIV’ blood test screens for two viruses that are commonly transmitted by cats and carried for life: feline immunodeficiency and feline leukemia. Both viruses cause a weakened immune system and a higher risk of getting sick. Testing is important, especially in multi-cat households, so measures can be taken to reduce the risk of illness and transmission.
Telemedicine Calls | $39.43 Reg. $78.86
Chat with a veterinarian over the phone and get their advice for half the cost of a regular Telemedicine call. This is a perfect option for little ones with chronic conditions, ongoing medication management, or minor ailments.
Since most kittens require a vet visit and vaccines at 8, 12, and 16 weeks (in addition to any routine care visits throughout the year), Kitten Wellness Memberships tend to pay for themselves after the first few visits.
Ask our team about Wellness Membership at your next visit. We’ll be happy to answer any questions or get you started with the next steps for enrollment.

How is a Wellness Membership different from pet insurance?
Our Wellness Memberships are an internal option that we’ve developed to help with your furry family member’s routine care, whereas pet insurance is a third-party option to provide coverage for illness and emergencies.
“Routine care” includes the visits that you can expect to be a normal part of maintaining a healthy lifestyle for your furry family member, such as annual exams, vaccinations, spaying, neutering, etc. Should your furry family member fall ill while on a membership, their veterinary examinations would be half price of a membership. However, diagnostics such as X-Rays, ultrasound, bloodwork, and urinalysis are not included, nor are any necessary treatments.
That is where pet insurance would come in. Depending on your policy, pet insurance will reimburse you for some or all of the cost of emergency diagnostics and treatment. The exact coverage will depend on your policy, but we strongly recommend some form of pet insurance for all furry family members. Pet insurance doesn’t have to be expensive; there are many options available for every budget, and some coverage is better than no coverage at all. While we don’t work with any one company directly, here are some common options for pet insurance in our area:
Additionally, many home and auto insurers also offer pet insurance. If you already have a relationship with an existing company for your home, vehicle, or business insurance, inquire with them about pet insurance, too. If it is a product that they offer, you may be eligible for a loyalty discount through them.
