Flexible Saturday Shifts: Modern, low-volume medicine in a beautiful new facility

Neighbourhood Pet Clinic is seeking a small animal veterinarian to join our team for casual work on Saturdays at our beautiful Sunningdale location. Nestled between the quiet hamlet of Arva and the blooming north end of London, this independently-owned practice is only 3 years old. In our modern facility, you’ll find a bright, sun-filled, nature-inspired environment built specifically for your patients’ comfort.

This role is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys practicing thoughtful, thorough medicine without the pressure of high volume. If you love wellness care and value strong client relationships, you’ll feel at ease as part of our Saturday team.

What will my day look like?

This position offers the flexibility of locum work with the consistency of a part-time role. Tell us which Saturdays you’re available, and we’ll make sure you’re fully supported every time you’re in.

• 8-hour shifts (9 AM – 4 PM) with a full hour break midday, providing time for lunch and completing notes
• 30-minute wellness appointments, allowing for unhurried and thorough exams
• Only 3-4 appointments per day reserved for urgent cases, with local emergency hospitals available for case support
• No surgeries
• High-compliance clients who value preventive care and recommendations
• $65–$88/hour for permanent part-time DVMs (locum veterinarians are invited to share their preferred rates based on experience and availability).

As a veterinarian at Sunningdale Neighbourhood Pet Clinic, you’ll work alongside experienced veterinary technicians and a strong support staff who will handle the majority of the billing for you. Plus, as an independently-owned clinic, we support our veterinarians’ individual styles of practice; we’re happy to keep your preferred products in stock and find the workflow that works best for you to provide the patient care you believe in.

This position is to fill a current part-time vacancy, but as a multi-location practice, we have flexibility in scheduling.
